Invitation for exhibition on polish – czech neighbourhood
September 1st – October 31st 2009
Edith Stein House
Wrocław, ul. Nowowiejska 38
the big day – opening of exhibition
With the arrival of August, in the middle of the epicenter (or maybe in its basement), the opening of the PolaCzek exhibition took place. Preparations for the event lasted nearly a week and were a result of fruitful but hard work of the PolaCzek team. Stress was effectively supported by the fact that all participants of Youth Opens The Space which took place at the same time conference, are going to take a part in this venue .
After an intense bonding, painting, sticking, translating and many other activities, THE hour has come..
Our international visitors could feel invited from the moment of cutting red ribbon. In modernist environment of the cultural basement, our guests have the opportunity to interactively learn and understand the idea of the project.
Appart of traditional boards with the most interesting pictures, participants had the opportunity to view the official video of the project, learn the basics of Polish and Czech, discover funniest “językołamy” and travel among historical axe which presented the most important moments in both countries.
The crowning of this travel was the table of polish and czech delicacies. It was deservedly the most popular place not only among our guests, but also the organizers.
Visitors were given also a little presents.
We are pleased that among the visitors, our exhibition has aroused intense interest.
The exhibition, which traditionally is a summary, in this case turns out to be the invitation we hope that soon we be accepted by the next series of exhibition visitors.
WELCOME and ENJOY!
